ReviewPush, an online review platform, needed help building out mobile clients. We partnered with them to build custom mobile apps for their business clients.

ReviewPush works with Google, Public Storage, TGI Fridays, and some of the largest brands in the world to actively monitor their online reviews in one easy to use interface. ReviewPush had an existing mobile application that was being maintained by an offshore company. They were looking for a partner in the U.S. that could provide reliable application support and guidance on new features. Specifically, they needed a thorough assessment and recommendations of the current state of their codebase.

We started the project by performing our Code Examination to analyze the codebase. Through both AI and human testing, we found spaghetti code, poor performance, inefficient UI, and inconsistent UX. After highlighting these specific issues, the ReviewPush team wanted us to quickly get to work on addressing each of them.

Our first task was to revamp the networking layer and improve caching for better performance. Once the code was restructured and the codebase was stable, an emphasis was placed on building modular material components that could be reused across other applications and locations.
